  • Our themes have remained consistent over the last several years. They are:

    1) Organizational Development & Capacity Building - Contributing to the ongoing development of individuals and organizations in attendance and providing them with practical tools, resources, and knowledge for professional growth

    2) Current Trends & Research in the Region - Equipping conference attendees with up-to-date research from our sector and information about the developing trafficking trends within the region

    3) Survivor Input - Prioritizing the role of survivors of trafficking in the movement and ensuring that they retain a prominent place as contributors both on stage and behind the scenes

    4) Collaboration & Networking - Cultivating a space where relationships can be forged and strengthened for the benefit of the movement and the people in it


  • We want the ability for as many participants to join the conference as possible. One organization ticket will allow the entire organization to be able to participate in the conference. You are more than welcome to play any and all keynotes in a conference room or group work setting where possible. Additionally, we are offering up to 20 individual registrations for your organization. Individual registrations will allow your team members to be able to interact with the webinars and network with other participants throughout the course of the conference. 

  • The standard in-person ticket includes access to the conference in at the Empress Hotel in Chiang Mai, Thailand for the full 3 days, July 22-23, 2026. Lunch and two coffee breaks per day will be included. Lodging is not included.

  • Online participants will join the conference via our Whova app. All sessions will be live recorded. Sessions in the main ballroom only will have simultaneous Khmer, Thai, and Indonesian translation. Sessions will be made available at the end of the conference day for re-watching and will include subtitles for those sessions without live translation. Online participants will be able to submit questions to speakers during Q/A via Whova alongside in person attendees during the keynote sessions. Additionally within the app, participants can watch sessions live, interact with both online and in person attendees, participate in virtual discussions, access conference resources etc.

  • You will be responsible for your personal hotel accommodations and meals outside of the conference day: breakfast & dinner. There are many restaurants within one to two kilometers from the hotel as well as meal services at the hotel.

  • The conference will be 3 full days from July 21-23. We would advise checking in the night prior and checking out the morning after to ensure access to the full conference. Please note that the final keynote could conclude around 5pm.

  • A device with the capabilities to run zoom and stable internet connection are required to stream video and participate in the virtual networking events. All keynotes will be accessible to registered attendees to view at later times. The conference will be accessible through an online app on any computer, as well as iPhone and Android mobile devices. 

  • The conference will take place between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm Bangkok Time. 

  • Yes! All keynote presentations will be available for registered members immediately after the session to view at later times. You can connect directly with speakers with any questions that you may have. The conference app will be available to access and network with attendees before, during, and after the conference for a limited time.

  • Simultaneous translation will be made available for Khmer, Thai, and Bahasa for the main keynotes only. More translations can be made available. If you are interested in supplying a translation, please contact the conference coordinator at info@aratconference.com
